MATERIALS:
DMC Baroque (ecru) Thread There is no size indicated on the thread's wrapper.
Hook: Size 1.14MM (US 8)
Gauge: 10 dc to 1 inch (depends on thread, tension, hook)

DIRECTIONS:

Base row: Has 151 chains (15 blocks of 3ch +1), + 3 ch for 1st dc of row 2 Each block = 3 dc. (represented by a colored block on the chart)

Empty blocks = 1 dc, 2 ch. (represented by an empty block on the chart)

Follow the chart, (above) crocheting empty and filled blocks to form the pattern.

Edging:
1st row : (5 ch, 1 sl st) around all 4 four borders,

2nd row: (3 sc, 1 p, 3 sc) in each loop of edging row 1 The chain and the first two rows of the pattern are important. After they are established, the rest of the pattern is simply the process of crocheting filled and empty blocks to complete the pattern.
