Rd 4: Ch 2. In first loop make 1 hdc, 1 sc, ch1 (half petal formed). *In next loop make sc, 1 hdc, dc, 1 hdc, sc, ch 1 (full petal)** Continue pattern from * to ** until last loop. Complete the first petal by making a ch 1, sc, 1 hdc. Slip stitch in top of beginning chain.

Border: Ch 2. *In next ch 10 loop, 3 dc, 3 trc, 3 dc. Ch 2. Sc in ch 5 loop. Ch 2.** Repeat form * to ** around. Slip stitch to top of first ch 2 and fasten off.

FOR BACK:
Using only White thread repeat rnds 1-6. Switch to light color thread in last stitch. Tie off White.
Using LC thread Make border as for front. Fasten off.

Thread a sewing needle with LC. Stitch front and back together leaving about 1-1/2" to 2" opening at top.

POTPOURRI HOLDER: Sew a little case (about 2" - 3" square) out of light weight material or crochet one out of white thread. Sew three sides closed. Fill case with potpourri and sew fourth side. .Insert the little case into the pouch.

TO DECORATE POUCH: Loosely thread ribbon in and out of Rnd 5 of the pouch. Pull up ends at the top so that they match. Make a bow close top the pouch face and then another one closer to the ends of the ribbon. This will allow the pocket to be dangled from a doorknob.

Using a small sewing needle and LC thread, make three strings of beads alternating silver/gold and pearls. Sew the strands to the bottom of the pouch.
