23k Bookmark  Designer's Notes: Bookmarks are fun, fast and easy to do! I really like them because they result in fun mini-samplers of crochet stitches. One cannot have too many good books -- or bookmarks :)

Rows 29-40 are worked in two parts, work the left side first, tie off and go back and work the right side. Slip stitches on each row will link the two parts together together to form one complete row

Remember to start the Blue rows on the right side and the red and white rows on the left side. This is important as the "other" side of the piece should actually become the "front". We are actually facing the back side of the bookmark as we crochet. To get a better idea of this, flip the piece over and observe the cluster stitches in Rows 3 - 14. They should have more "texture" to them. That will be the front of the piece. (Mark the Front side with a different colored thread.) Now, flip the piece over and work Rows 29-40 following the the instructions below.

RIGHT PART OF BOOKMARK:BLUE

Begin Row 29 from the right side. This is important.
Row 29: With Blue, ch 1, sc 9, ch 1, turn
