Model crocheted by Rose Picard

Pattern tested by Rose Picard

Materials:
Worsted weight cotton yarn
Large ponytail elastic
F hook

Notes:
I bunch up the stitches as much as I can, so that the scrunchie will be fluffier.

Directions:

Rnd 1: Join yarn around elastic with sc and sc around the entire elastic. Make sure you have an even number of sc when done. Join with sl st to first sc.

Rnd 2: Chain 3, dc 4 times in same st *(sk next sc, 5 dc in next sc). Repeat from * around. Join with sl st to beg ch 3. Finish off and weave in ends.
