Materials:
Size 7 steel crochet hook
Bedspread weight cotton crochet thread
1 Elastic hair band

Directions:

Join thread to hair band with a sl st, sc around band until covered. Join. (about 75Sc)

Rnd 1: *ch 3, sk next st, sc in next st* around. End with ch 3. Join in bottom of beg ch 3.

Rnd 2: Sl st into ch 3 sp, ch 3, (dc, ch 1, 2 dc) in same st. *2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc in next ch 3 sp * Repeat * to * around. Join to top of beg ch 3.

Rnd 3: Sl st in next dc and in ch 1 sp, ch 1, sc in same sp, *ch 5, sc in next ch 1 sp* Repeat * to * around. End with ch 5, join with sl st to beg sc.

Rnd 4: Ch 1, sc in same st, *ch 3, sc in ch 5 sp, ch 3 sc in next sc*. Repeat * to * around. End with ch 3 and join with sl st to beg sc.

Rnd 5: Ch 1, sc in same st, *ch 7, sk next two ch 3 loops, sc in next sc*. Repeat * to * around. End with ch 7, join with sl st to beg sc. Finish off.
