MATERIALS
1 ball (1.75 oz./50 g) Bernat Handicrafter Cotton or other ww cotton yarn
G hook

DIRECTIONS:

Ch 38 (approximately 10").

Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook. Dc in next ch, alternate sc & dc to end. Sc in last ch. Turn. (37 st)

Row 2: Ch 2 (counts as dc), sc in the next st, dc in next st, alternate sc & dc to end. Turn. (37 st)

Row 3: Ch 1, sc in first st, dc in the next st, alternate sc & dc to end. Sc in last st. Turn. (37 st)

Repeat rows 2 & 3 until piece measures 8".

Edging: Sc evenly around entire piece. (Sc, ch 1 sc) in each corner.
