2 ply sport yarn, 3 (3oz) skeins
Size G crochet hook
Ch a long ch. (you can always cut off the end that you don't need or weave it through the back.)
Beginning Border: I like to do a sc in ea ch across for a few rows to make the work stay flat
Row 1: in 2nd ch from the hook do a sc, sk 1 ch, *do a 3 dc group shell in the next ch, sk 1 ch, sc in next ch, rep from * for width of afghan, ending with 5dc shell, 1dc in last ch. turn
Row 2: Ch2, sk 1 st, *3dc shell in center of prev row 3dc shell, sk
1 st, rep from * end with 3dc shell, ch1, 1 dc in last ch, turn
Repeat row 2 til desired length.
Ending Border: I also like to make a matching border, so repeat the border pattern for the other end.
