SOFTBALL SCRUNCHIES

MATERIALS
Bag 3/4" wooden beads, painted white
Red permanent, Sharpie marker for drawing seams on each bead
Worsted Weight Yarn. Designer recommends Kountry Kabled Worsted by Lily
Size H crochet hook
1 11/2" coated elastic band
DIRECTIONS:
Thread beads onto worsted.
Make 26 sc around the elastic band. Join with a sl st to first sc.
Rnd 1: Ch 3, dc in 1st st, 3 dc in next sc (2 dc in next sc, 3 dc in
next sc) around. Join with a slip stitch to top of 1st ch 3, (65 dc). Ch
1, turn.
Rnd 2: Sc in next 29 dcs. In next dc, bring up a bead and join it
with a sc. Sc in next sc. *In next sc, bring up another bead and join
it with a sc. Sc in next sc.* Repeat from * to * one more time. Sc in
remaining 29 dcs. Join with a slip stitch to beginning sc. Break off,
weave in ends. ####
