DESIGNER'S NOTES: I've made this design in sport yarn, & worsted weight. However, you can get quite a few different looks and variations with this pattern by using different types of yarns. You can also make this into a fan-type by only working the curls part of the way around.---JB

MATERIALS Yarn and Elastic for Hair

DIRECTIONS:

Foundation row. Sl st around elastic & work an even number of sc around, join.

1st Row: sc in same place as join, *ch 6, work 4 sc in 2nd ch from hook, 3 sc in next ch, 2 sc in next ch, sc in next 2 ch, skip next st of foundation row, sc in next st.repeat from * around ending with sl st in 1st sc. end off
