5 sts=1inch

PATTERN NOTES:

This toy is not suitable for children under 3 years of age.
Do not join rnds unless indicated otherwise. Weave in loose ends.

PATTERN STITCH:

Lp st: insert hk in st, wrap yarn over finger, catch yarn on hook, pull yarn through st, complete as a sc.

MATERIALS:

4 ply brushed acrylic yarn,
4 1/2 oz white
4 ply acrylic yarn: small amount black
Size C/6 crochet hook
Polyester fiberfill
Small bell
18" 1/2"-wide blue velvet ribbon
Tapestry needle
Scraps of black, white and blue felt
Craft glue

DIRECTIONS

BODY:Center

FRONT

BACK:

Rnds 1-7:Rep Rnds 1-7 of Body Front, at end of Row 7, fasten off-42 sts

FINISHING Fold center piece of body in half, st edges tog. St front piece to 1 end of center piece; stuff firmly with fiberfill. St back piece to other end of center piece.

HEAD:

Stuff firmly with fiberfill.

HEAD FLEECE:

NECK:

FINISHING:

Fold neck in half; st edges tog. Position neck over front of body; st in place. Stuff neck firmly with fiberfill.

Position head over neck, st in place

LEGS: MAKE 4

 

FINISHING: Stuff legs firmly with fiberfill; st to front and back of body
