A Dozen Double-Quick DishCloths----Review by Denise Dennett
American School of Needlework
by Jein Leinhauser
leaflet #1239 $4.95
This leaflet delivers on its promise of double-quick dishcloths. They all worked up quickly. I made 3 of the 12 patterns and found no errors whatsoever. The instructions were clear, easy-to-follow, and printed in a good-sized type face.. The designs were varied and interesting, and their color choices were good. The ones I made ended up about 10" square.
One of the patterns in the leaflet called"High Tech" had a spectacular border -- for me, learning this border was worth the purchase price alone! The border has a saw tooth edge (nice and soft, of course, with the cotton), and it was easy to make. I will definitely reuse this border on other patterns.
Note: This is my first dishcloth leaflet, so I have nothing to compare it to. However, I'm glad to add this leaflet to my crochet library.
